Thames Valley Branch

Face to face meeting

Since February 2023 we have restarted physical meetings at 20.00 once or twice a month. The venue is not settled so do check where_when.

On Mondays when we do not meet in person we will meet over the Internet.

Welcome

Welcome to the FNF Thames Valley Branch - Maidenhead/Reading area, England. Look here for a map of the area that we cover, where we meet and a description of our confidential meetings.

Our purpose is to help those who are trying to remain in touch with their children following divorce or separation. Most who we see are fathers, but we also help mothers and grandparents. We do not judge you on why the relationship broke down, although knowing why can often help us to make appropriate suggestions.

We can help you with shared residence & child arrangement orders in court — we do encourage building a good relationship with the other parent as that usually produces better results & is in the child's best interest. Some attendees enjoy 50/50 child care.

We meet virtually using Jitsi; and also run an email list for chatter between meetings.

We have been active for over twenty five years in and around the M4 corridor. We cover the Reading area, Maidenhead and Slough, Bracknell and Windsor and have had members even as far out as Oxford. For many years we met in a pub in Bray, which is why that is part of our domain name.

You are welcome to come to meetings and we strongly encourage you to become a member of FNF.
